Alexandria began skating at the age of 8 with Over The Edge Learn To Skate at Hudson Valley Community College. Six weeks after Alex started her private lessons she competed in the 2002 Saratoga Springs ISI Competition and placed 1st. Alexandria was hooked! In September of 2003, Alexandria entered her first United States Figure Skating competition, Rochester Fall Skate, as a Pre-Preliminary competitor and placed 1st in her Freeskate, and 1st in all her compulsory events. She was delighted. In December of 2005 Alexandria moved up to the Juvenile Level after spending only 1 month at Pre-Juvenile where she placed 2nd at the Pioneer Valley Penguin Invitational and 1st at the 15th Annual Skaneateles Invitational. Alexandria's first time competing at Juvenile was in March of 2006 at a little local competition, the Garren Invitational. Alexandria brought home a gold medal and won the 2006 Linda Levitt Trophy. In April of 2006, Alexandria placed 4th at the Morris Open in New Jersey which earned her a spot in the Championship round. December 3rd, 2006 marked Alex's debut at the Intermediate Level. She placed second in her Free Skate at the Skaneateles Invitational, 2nd in the Free Skate at the Garren Invitational, and 2nd in the Free Skate at the 2007 Green Mountain Open. Espana Cani from the Shall We Dance soundtrack is her short program and On The Town, Times Square, 1944 is her long. In July 2007 Alexandria competed for the first time at the Novice level and pulled off a 4th place finish (out of 15) in her SP at the Lake Placid FS Championships, and on July 27, 2007 she passed her FS test. Alexandria is coached by Gilberto Viadana, Trina Erhard, and Chrissy Cedilotte, and her choreagrapher is Michela Boschetto. Off-ice, Alex trains also trains with Chrissy Cedilotte and enjoys taking dance classes with Paula Wagener.
